Is There a God?
Psalm 53: god is walking a tight rope, giving just enough evidence of his existence to make our agnosticism seem unfounded. But also not to give us so much evidence that he has no reason to look down from heaven to see if there's anybody seeking for him. Oh, my friends, take advantage of your days of doubt. Take advantage of times when fools out there are saying there is no god. Some day it will be eclipsed by perfect knowledge. And in the meantime, god is looking down from heaven upon the children of men, and he's just wondering if he'll see any belief.
