The Changing Landscape of Trumpism

This chapter examines the cultural and ideological shifts within right-wing politics since 2016, particularly in relation to Trumpism and its embrace of Christian nationalism. It discusses the fragmentation of traditional conservative values and the emergence of a more heterogeneous political ideology, as well as the evolving dynamics of authoritarians in both liberal and conservative circles. Additionally, it critiques the effectiveness of existing political institutions and posits that true change may require the creation of new structures more aligned with contemporary society.
