The African social spider, stegadipus dumicola lives in huge colonies with up to two thousand spiders. When the eggs hatch, theyare so helpless that the adult females have to help the spider lings escape the silk egg sack. And how do you feed a baby spider? Well, by regurgeating liquid food. Plenty of sea birds regurgetate half digested fish suppers to their chicks before heading out to sea to catch more fish.
