The Unsettling Rehearsal Process

The Thorns play features Janie Dee, perhaps the most experienced member of the cast. She is playing Eileen Hurley who was cast as Hamlet's mother Gertrude despite being 11 years older than Olivier. Any problems between Burton and Gilgood are really painful to her in our play. We get to see if the first time all goes on in a rehearsal room, and of course there's lots of conflict, but I can't reveal more.
