Exactly. Is It a Representational Viewpoint?
Poldreck: John is impressed with our artificial neural networks, right? And that we can get some sort of quote unquote behavior out of an artificial network. So I suppose John's bet would be that the path forward to explaining would be, we would be better served with a representational viewpoint, right? That it's just a more likely bet. Poldreck says this explicitly in that paper that I respond to. But he also like in Poldreck's paper, and I think one of the things that John is impresses with are our artificial neural Networks.
