The Beat Up Shoe

Sally Kohn: I was actually trained as a women self defense instructor. Before they taught us a single technique, they threw we had a stand in a circle and they threw an old beat up shoe in the middle of the circle. They said, would you defend that? And of course, our answer was no. She says many consultants are still carrying with them is thinking of that they're the old beat-up shoe. That's going to end up in a life that they don't want to have.
