Justification Is a Change of Status Before God
salvation theology can really be divided into three elements. Justification which is a change of identity from sinner to saint, Sanctification which is the process by which we become like Jesus and then glorification which will happen in the next life. So Christian thought on these things is very diverse. There's a lot of different perspectives on how this works.
