Conan Doyle's Spiritualism and the First World War
Conan Doyle became the world's foremost proponent of spiritualism. His son Kingsley died during the First World War, which was a turning point for him. He attended a seance with a Welsh medium called Evan Powell and his son said he was 'very happy on the other side' Conan Doyle also had an interest in visiting mediums before the war.
