Less than one suggests the patient's pre renal. Their kidneys sodium avid. We want to do it through sodium, but we can't. So what this boils down to is, when your urine sodium is sort of indeterminate, check a fena and if you get a value less than zero point five %, or, if you really want to be on the safe side, zero point one five %, you're done. Rass is on.
