What's Going on Inside Teachers Pay Teachers?

I was pretty surprised to see this I XL teachers pay teachers. They seem like wildly different types of companies to me, but I'm probably missing something big there. The paper one is interesting because it does feel like paper is trying to diversify. It could have huge upside if they figure out the right way to layer the cake. But it could also be a break even a moot point or a downside.
