How to Do Sound for a Car Chase Scene
The way that these films came together felt like a step forward for the whole idea of the car chase scene. I remember telling Greengrass that we needed to kind of anchor the audience into the picture and the story in a way that we had not done before. And it's so fast it's so quick that your eye doesn't pick everything up and also it doesn't know what is important in this part of the thing. So what we had to do was to kind of in sometimes cut off on cuts in other places maybe decide these three cuts these fast ones We have to have something that draw your attention the audience attention to a specific thing, if you will.
