The Rise and Fall of Game Show Network

I find it to be a very bleak and dark show as he just lectures them about how hard their lives have been. Game shows adopted that American idol thing. Deal or no deal was a big part of pushing this. I still watch Press your luck on Saturday morning sometimes now. But then also the contestants were so excitable and so irrepressible, so thrilled to be there. It's like people can win a ton of money on that show and you almost never see them react.
