The Importance of Survival Flight

I almost lost my life three times flying by air medical in Houston and in San Diego. It took me at least six months to learn how to be part of a crew. I saw a different paradigm flying with these guys, because I was used to flying single pilot IFR. And so like Chris so rightly said, they have a higher standard. The survival flight that made that flyer that everybody had to live up to. Making decisions that are putting the crew in harm's way. That's when I wrote the golden hour, I wrote the gold hour to save to the people back in the States.
