The Relationship Between Small Caps and Large Caps
This chart shows the relative performance of small cap to large, IWM, Russell 2000 to SPY. The thing that's quite clear is that coming off of the COVID low, what happens? Small caps outperform. And then now we're back to a point where they've underperformed or low. It's a real mess. So the question is, do we put in a double bottom or not? Let's put some annotations in to the pen, the green arrow. Next iteration, put them together. If it's long, you'll know you use that line as a reference point. if it's right, it can really come.
