Existential Inertia
An existence was often thought of, especially in 20th century analytic philosophies, a kind of abstraction without content. But as Paul Adi identifies for us, investigating such a question gets us to recognize what general metaphysical considerations might be relevant or foundational to existential inertia. If undisturbed and inactive, whatever exists is poised to cease to exist. So, it's important to emphasize the idea of being undisturbed since it gives us a clearous intuition about existential inertia at work. This is indicated directly in the thesis. Although certainly existential inertia and expiration would be at work among the active interactions and adventures that objects find themselves in, it's existential inertia would indeed be hidden by all this noise.
