Sergeant Pepper and the Time Crystal

I've been revisiting Dider's cinema to the second volume of his cinema book which is a pretty fantastic piece of philosophical writing. I think Sergeant Pepper is a perfect example of what he calls a time crystal or crystal image. And why though like mechanically or ritualistically I don't know magically how does it happen. The fact that the album is constructed like a performance by this new band that's not the Beatles is very important to why absolutely the album worked and did what it was supposed to do.
