In the proof of work days, we had these large mining pools and they had a ton of stake capital in effect behind them. But in proof of stake, there are way more stakers than there were miners. And as a result, you would see centralization by MEV searchers only sending their high value bundles or bundles at all to kind of large entities that are well capitalized. That informed this new design that we have and how the MEV supply chain has changed. So anyone with 32 ETH coming out of a centralized exchange could spin up a validator.
