The Lost Metal of Tress and Emerald Sea

I think one of the big standouts of Tress and Emerald Sea is how the connections to the greater Cosmere were done so seamlessly and so meaningfully, without detracting from the story or entering into what I'll call like the Lost Metal Zone. If you're bringing in a Cosmere connection that's really meaningful, autonomy, attacking, scadrill, then it almost demands a lot of focus and backstory on why autonomy,. which isn't really the point of the Lost Metal.
