The Importance of Talking to Chinese Suffragists

In 1912, Mabel Lee met with white suffragists who wanted more insight on the situation in China. She became known as a person who had the oratory skills and who was invested in bringing women's rights to the forefront as a teenager. Soon after the meeting that I spoke about earlier she was involved in a suffrage parade. You can see a lot of her consciousness developing at this time.
