Around 40 years after the Aztec site of Totoacán was looted by the Spaniards, it appeared in an inventory at Ambrose Castle. The castle was a Habsburg resident of the ancestor of anthropologist Professor Khadija von Zinnenberg-Carol. With this family link, she decided to write a book tracing these threads.
