The ankles are very influential over, obviously the ankle but also a lot of muscles cross from the ankle into the knee and the knee is very influential on how the hamstrings are functioning. So you wanna make sure you're really strengthening your ankles, doing calf raises, lifting your toes up to work the front of your shins, rotating in and out. That will really help to strengthen and support whatever is causing your hamstrings to be extra tight all the time.
