Eku's Sense of Sexuality

In rinzai, the standard for monks is chastity. But eku rejected that outright why? There are a few hints to be found in his poetry. Eku said i can find buddha just as well, maybe better, in the of a beautiful woman. The autumn breeze of a single night of love is better than a hundred thousand years of sterile meditation. Love play can make you immortal. And yes, i do mean associated in every sense of that word.
