The History of Women in Hip-Hop
There's always been a shadow lesbian history of hip-hop right and I'm now seeing women who are out. Even watching M.C. get her roses in this moment is it's also like incredibly like inspiring and rewarding and it feels great. Moonchild Sanele describes her music as future ghetto funk which is super influenced by hip-hop and quite dope. In South Africa we grew up with quite a because obviously people were doing these things but in that time the craziest thing is that they had minimal lyrics. It was our national anthem and felt authentic because it was we made it ours.
