The Gregory Vilman Affair

Marcel Jacques and his wife Jacqueline were arrested on June 14, 2017. Gregory Vilman had been missing since October 16, 1984. Police found a letter written by Marcel to Gregory's grandparents Manique and Albert in December 2009. A sealed cardboard file containing newspaper clippings relating exclusively to the Vilman case was also discovered at the couple's home. Jeanette Jockob claimed she couldn't remember many of the questions asked about her ex-husband Bernard La Roche or Christine Vilman. The reopening of the case had identified handwriting as belonging to Manique Vilman. She still believed that Bernard La Roche was innocent but denied lying to protect anyone.
