I don't think Beijing's calculation is based on these kinds of the calculation out of when to actually move on to Taiwan, to attack Taiwan. That's not how Beijing makes its decision. They don't want to be pushed into doing something as big as in Beijing Taiwan. In many areas, the Chinese POA already surpassed the US military or the US allies military. So I think that as the military imbalance increases, it becomes more and more likely that China will strike.
