"Sports is absolutely an idol in my life. And so God's not expecting me to be perfect at this point, but he is expecting me to practice Christian rhythms," she says. She asks what sports would look like if Christ followers who are watching in the stands committed just as much to praying for the athletes and the people around them than cheering on our teams.
