Plato and the Demiurge

In a character aly inscrutable little passage, plato has timaeus endorsed the ancient myths about the generation of the gods. Timaeus also explain how human eyesight works. i will probably return to the mechanics of platonic optics in a future episode. For now, let me just mention that timaeus praises eyesight because it allows us to see the regular motions of the heavenly bodies. We should aspire to imitate these revolutions in the motions of our own souls.
