The Fed's June CPI Inflation Forecast

CPI inflation was 3.10% in June compared to 1.2% of the same month a year ago. Food inflation is eased over the past three months following a long period of extraordinary increases. Outside of food and energy, core goods prices should also be held in check by improved supply chains. Manheim wholesale used car prices fell for a third consecutive month in June.
