Jewish magazine Mosaic published a review of the controversy, which is also a partial review of the book. It brings readers attention to the fact that the English translation was not a faithful translation of the text. And so what happens in that case is it creates a huge conflict among first things readers. The inter-rollist community decided that they were going to defend Pius IX.
