The Lib Dems' Response to the Research on Death on Arrival
The Lib Dems got data back from seven trusts, but only had complete data sets from 2020 to 2022. We should also treat that data with a bit of caution, because each ambulance trust had a slightly different definition for what qualified as dead on arrival. For each year, 2020, 2021 and 2022, the number of people declared dead on arrival barely changed. And you've been talking to the liberal Democrats, so what have they got to say for themselves? After I contacted them, they deleted the tweets that said 120 people a day died while waiting for an ambulance. But they still claim that the press release that they put out about this research was correct.
