What's the Difference Between ETFs and Index Funds?
ETFs can be traded throughout the day like shares do, whereas index funds are bought and sold only for the price that is set at the end of the trading day. The primary difference between ETFs and index funds is how they're bought and sold. But this actually translates to fees - you could potentially be paying broken costs if you buy them through a broker. There's just different fees and charges that need to be taken into consideration.
