I feel like that is sort of like the American fantasy of going back to the like sort of country where you have heritage and someone actually remembering you. Despite the fact that my family has been here in America for so many generations for over a hundred years, there were still people in the villages who remembered my great grandparents. I'm interested in who were the women in the family, right? Why didn't those stories get saved? There's always so much more that I want to know.
