The Importance of Ad H D in Sibling Relationships
Pulsivity and lack of emotional regulation can lead to a reliance on the use of poor coping strategy such as anger or aggression. Children with ad h d can show a lower than desired compliance with rules, family values, and have difficulty learning from consequences. The parent might feel frustrated special if there are siblings who are able to do these things successfully. And they may feel that the child's behaviour is purposeful and disrespectful. This could further impact the relationship and negative feelings toward the child.
