i would say jadilla ranks among the most important a, you know, we like to do ranking. The reason that he transcends it is that he did literally create a third time feel in music,. And what do i mean by that? For the last hundred years, pop music has essentially had two different time feels. What does that mean? Well, musicians can feel time evenly, even beats. That's how the european common practice evolved. But the american experience, mostly because of the presence of the african and africans on the north American continent, evolved an entirely new way of feeling time - swing.
