Embalming started in civil war when men were dying out at war and they had to get them homes in still in one piece. And so, but then somewhere in the formation of the professional funeral home, they said, we can make your loved one preserved. I will say in my religion growing up, people didn't get involved. Well, no, I'm cremated. The Catholics still are some of the last to fight that. They've been trying to not let you be buried and have a mass if it's cremation,. But now they've changed their mind.
