The Importance of Distancing Your Art
I think that's a huge part of it. Because also if we come back to this bonfire idea, like in the idea of that was, if you were truly making art for its own sake, for your involvement with the process and the end result really didn't matter,. Then it wouldn't matter if somebody took it away and got rid of it because you're in it for the process. And I think there is time as a distancing thing that is very helpful for that. That helps you actually feel like you could get rid of old work because it has done its service for you. It's the not showing it. Whether that's online or in a gallery or at your home
