Fairness in the Moral Foundations Questionnaire
Jesse Jackson: I want to ask about the fairness items in the moral foundations questionnaire. He says people can use that word in two different ways. One is equal, perfectly equal distribution of a resource or so forth. Another way you might use the word is equity, um, in which goods are distributed on the basis of how much work or effort was put in and that may be another notion of fairness.Jackson: You could have cases where if you just say fair, some people assume you mean equitable, and some people assumes you mean equal.
