How I Learned to Face Fear in a Different Way

I've faced a lot of really scary situations as a cave diver. I've been inside an iceberg in antarctic, trapped because the floe picked up and was so strong that we were fighting our way to get out. But one my closest calls was in a very small cave, when i guided a scientist into a place that's about equivalent to slithering underneath the kitchen chair in your house. It wasn't too far from the subway station, just a few blocks away. And it was perfect for me, an artist. There was a big counter in there with a sink and a creaky wooden floor.
