And then the contras, instead of paying for the guns in cash, they would pay for them in, you know, kilos and tons of cocaine. They smuggled the cocaine back into the united states through vari a c i a, cut out air bases, and then distributed it um down a pipe line. It eventually found its way to street level dealers in gangs, which had kind of the intra structure to sell it in every community around the country.
