Dog Training - Self Regulation

In order for self regulation to occur, there're a lot of factors that go in. Antecedents are everything. Look at those types of factors rather than thinking about the reinforcement or punishment involved. And self regulation, in my opinion, is ingenuine when it is punished into. I'm going to say that if we went back to the crate example, the genuine desire to be released from the crate. That's true self regulation.
