CDC says there's nothing wrong with getting both at the same time. Both will be aiming to do the same thing, protect from infection and severe disease. October is a great time to get the flu vaccine. If you do feel the need to split up your vaccines, get your COVID booster first because there's more COVID around right now than flu.
