Marco Arment: I've had a bunch of server challenges the past year, just trying to get things scaled and cost managed in reasonable ways. His plan has been to move user data to cloud kit in overcast and then keep servers as a much smaller thing. He says while there are ways to access cloud kit from servers, they are terrible and unreliable.
