Kanes's Legacy
John, maynard kanes was born in 18 83 into what he called the educated bourgeoisie. Kans believed that the economy didn't writ itself. And that goes against the dominant view of the time. He essentially showed that government had a role to play to insure the economy got back on its feet. This is also where his famous quote from: "In the long run, we are all dead" comes from.
