I'll Never Know Who You Are, Elina RONDE

Elina ronte: "I kind of expected it to be like disjointed childhood remembrances, and then those would inform the part of the book later where they were becoming like teens and adults" She says she was not jarred by that transition. Elina's character is a 60 year old woman who doesn't know exact whereabouts of her friend, but does understand her friend well enough to know what probably happened. The story ends with two friends who have been close and away, but have also drifted apart.
