Is There a Coherent Domain?
The heart is a monarch. It has a single governance principle, which happens to be the signaling mechanisms of the particular cells that enable coordination failure at all. The body is a really interesting example of a quite nicely decentralized governance mechanism. This isn't the kind of thing that can properly be dealt with by means of ideology or theory. If you haven't actually lived it with real groups trying to work together, then there's just going to be a whole bunch of stuff you don't grasp at all. And we probably should be letting go and not throwing out 100,000 years of wisdom in how this sort of thing works.
