Why Is the Lord Jettisoning His Justice in the Book of Jonah?
Jonah was not just ing his mission, he was fleeing from the presence of the lord. Jona simply isn't interested in operating in a world where there seems to be no justice. Moses wants to give up his life, but wants to save the people by interceding for them. Elijah laments his failure; Jonah's response is to be angry.
