The History of the Atlas and the Mercury Spacecraft
The Atlas was the most beautiful thing when it blew up that you ever saw. We lost a few monkeys though. The Russians did get a bunch of those German scientists that helped develop their programs, but we got the main man that got us to the moon and back. That's really important. And thank God we got him instead of the Russian.
