Greg: I think the deepest things, the deepest teachings, are often in the form of myth. Jacob: The myth of her is one of the very, very greatest myths. Greg: Herodotus seems to even rationalize some of the even slight myths that you get in Herodotus stripping of their quasi-mythic status.Jacob: Kierkegaard makes really great use of myths and they're just very, very deep. He's taught in philosophy departments, but what the heck is that? Really?
