Is YouTube Changing Dance Styles?
I remember seeing a TED talk some years ago about how because of the internet, because of YouTube, dance styles have evolved much more quickly than they otherwise would. I think we tend to focus on those kind of mechanical details. But it sounds like if we use YouTube and the internet as a way of seeing other people's approaches to the same pieces, it gives us more options. Is that part of developing a concept of style?
