Moses's face is transformed from having been in God's presence to glowing. So much in fact, Moses has to veil his face when he is around the people. This same phrase occurs later in the Bible after Solomon dies. After Solomon, David's son, after Solomon dies, the nation of Israel tragically divides into two - north and south.
